Castle Hill Residence

This site, in particular, had a few interesting site constraints, which turned out to be opportunities in the design process.

The site offered a vast view of the Blue Mountains. However, not only were the views orientated to the west but also towards the street front.

A bespoke architectural solution was required to allow views throughout the residence but also keeping in mind all environmentally sustainable design elements faces with a facade facing west which requires panoramic views.

The other major site constraint that was presented with this project is that fact that the site has a fall from the rear to the front of the property of 8m. Our office worked closely with the Contractor and Structural Engineer to come up with the construction method that was both practical and economical for this type of topography.
